Description: Constable Milstead and Deputy Charley Bridge attempted to arrest two local citizens for selling illegal whiskey and firearm violations. The suspects opened the door and shot Constable Milstead in the face. Deputy Bridge was able to return fire and kill both suspects. Constable Milstead died at the scene.
