Description: Military Police Officer Morrell fell to his death from a four-story jet engine test cell while on routine patrol when he climbed onto the roof of a building to gain an overview of his assigned area. As Officer Morrell made his way across the roof, he fell 50 feet through an opening. Officer Morrell was located hours later when he failed to check in and a search was initiated. Officer Morrell was transported to the hospital with massive head trauma and was pronounced dead. Officer Morrell was on duty at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Arizona where the incident occurred.
