Description: Lieutenant Meredith went to investigate a robbery call. Lieutenant Meredith arrived at the residence to find a family held hostage in exchange for money held at the family-owned business. Lieutenant Meredith fired several shots at two suspects who were attempting to escape. The suspects returned fire, striking Lieutenant Meredith once in the chest.
