Description: Officer Morash was struck and killed while responding to a minor traffic accident on South Dixie Highway. While responding, a motorist turned into Officer Morash's path. Officer Morash was thrown several feet from his department motorcycle before landing on the pavement. Several citizens assisted Officer Morash before he was transported to the St. Mary's Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
