Description: Marshal Moorhead responded to a disturbance call where other officers were investigating a report of a street disturbance. The officers stopped two men for questioning. One of the men pulled a pistol and fired at the officers striking Marshal Moorhead in the face. Marshal Moorhead died instantly.
