Description: Officer Monserrate-Rivera was found shot to death near a restaurant where he worked a uniformed, off-duty security job. When Officer Monserrate-Rivera failed to respond to a radio request by the department, fellow officers were dispatched to investigate his disappearance. His body was located near the restaurant. It is believed that Officer Monserrate Rivera was the victim of a robbery while he was locking the business.
