Description: Chief Milstead was shot when he arrested a suspect for disturbing the peace. As Chief Milstead reached for his hat which had fallen on the ground, the suspect drew a .32 handgun and shot Chief Milstead twice. The suspect was fatally shot by Officer Bob Lemon.
