Description: Police Officer Montgomery was shot while at headquarters by a suspect who was angry regarding his arrest for public intoxication earlier that evening. The suspect arrived at headquarters intent on shooting the Captain who had arrested him but shot Officer Montgomery by mistake instead. Officer Montgomery died at the scene. The suspect was convicted of murder.
