Description: Officer McCracken dispersed a disorderly crowd at 12:20 AM, at the Centre Square Building. Several minutes later at 12:42 AM, Officer McCracken was at the scene of a disturbance involving nine males. A foot pursuit ensued and Officer McCracken chased a male for a number of blocks. At 1:15 AM, Officer McCracken was inside the 23rd District, attempting to locate the turnkey when he collapsed to the floor. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and pronounced dead of a heart attack at 2:20 AM.
