Description: Officer McCray, accompanied by several other lawmen, went to investigate a shooting. When they arrived, the officers were met with resistance and forced the door open. As Officer McCray stepped inside, he was fatally shot in the neck. The suspect barricaded himself in the house and shot at the crowd that had gathered. Only after the residence was riddled with bullets and set afire did the suspect surrender but he died moments later.
