Description: Corrections Officer Mann was killed in an aircraft accident while transporting a juvenile inmate to a correction facility in Napa. The twin-engine Piper Navajo disappeared from the FAA's Salt Lake Center radar at 2:37 p.m. The Idaho National Guard located the wreckage in eight feet of snow on a ridge at an elevation of 9,500 feet, three days after the crash. Officer Mann's body was recovered as well as those of the pilot and the juvenile inmate.
