Description: Deputy McLain was shot with his own gun while off duty by a suspect who was wanted for a parole violation. Deputy McLain standing in a supermarket line when the suspect came from behind, gained control of Deputy McLain?s .38 revolver and shot him five times. The suspect was killed two days later in a shoot-out with law enforcement.
