Description: Deputy Marshal Moody succumbed to a gunshot wound he received while attempting to arrest a gang member. Marshal Moody ran ahead of a fellow marshal and three posse members to clear the way tot he suspect's house, but was shot when he reached the door. The marshal and posse members exchanged gun fire with the gang members and eventually forced them to surrender by threatening to torch the house.
