Description: Officer Nelson arrived to assist Officer Mindenhall, who was tracking down a burglary suspect who had ducked into a hotel. The two officers followed the suspect up to a third floor room. The suspect shot Officer Nelson in the heart. Officer Mindenhall returned fire and killed the suspect on the spot.
