Description: Constable Neff, Sheriff Thomas Lashbrook and Deputy Frank Utter were attempting to arrest several men who were causing a public disturbance when they were fired upon. Sheriff Lashbrook and Deputy Utter died instantly. Constable Neff died several hours later from a gunshot wound to the head. One suspect was mortally wounded by law enforcement officers and another was arrested.
