Description: Deputy Sheriffs Neil and James Holden were killed in a gun battle with relatives of an inmate who was attempting a jail break. The suspect had been arrested on a charge of attempted murder and was under extra guard custody. Sheriff John McKinley and Deputy Thomas Brock were also wounded in the shootout but survived.
