Description: Officer Nagie and his partner Officer Zambramski were called to a house where a man was holding his wife at gun-point. After 30 minutes of searching for the man with no luck, they were told by neighbors where the man could be found. Upon finding the man in the backyard of a nearby house, the man opened fire on Officer Nagie who returned fire. Officer Nagie was shot in the knee, thigh and chest and died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Officer Zambramski gave chase to the suspect and caught him. The man died later that evening from the wound incurred by Officer Nagie's shot.
