Description: Trooper Nicholson was shot and killed while attempting to stop a bank robbery suspect. Trooper Nicholson followed the suspect, who was driving a small motorcycle and attempted to stop him. The suspect then produced a small handgun and shot Trooper Nicholson several times before he could exit his patrol car. Trooper Nicholson was flown to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
