Description: Lieutenant Nazario Torres and Officer William Perez Madera responded to an assault, man with weapon call. Officers had located suspect's vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and gave pursuit. After reaching 123 mph Officer Madera Perez lost control of police crusier and crashed into an aluminum lightpost. Officer Perez Medera was dead at scene, and Lt. Nazario Torres died a few days later.
