Description: Officer Nava died of a gunshot wound he received two days earlier when he and two other officers attempted to serve a warrant. While searching the residence, Officer Nava opened a back bedroom door and the suspect shot him in the head. Officer Nava was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
