Description: Police Officer Nazario was killed when her patrol car was struck by an underage juvenile in a stolen SUV. Officer Nazario and her partner were on patrol when they learned of a vehicle pursuit in progress. Officers were pursuing an SUV being operated by an unlicensed 16-year-old. Officer Nazario responded to the call, which was in her area, but the SUV broadsided her cruiser near the passenger door. Officer Nazario was killed instantly and her partner was critically injured. The driver of the SUV was captured in a foot chase by other responding officers.
