Description: Deputy Nakedhead was shot and killed while attempting to arrest members of the Hughes Gang, who were wanted in connection with the robbery of a Pacific Express train. He and seven other deputies surrounded the cabin where the suspected gang members had been spotted. Deputy Nakedhead was shot once in the head by one of the gang members who tried to escape.
