Description: Deputy Sheriff Norsworthy was killed in a single-vehicle crash while responding to back-up a fellow officer. Deputy Norsworthy swerved to avoid a debris projectile which caused him to lose control of his patrol vehicle. Deputy Norsworthy's vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Deputy Norsworthy was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he died a week later as a result of his injuries.
