Description: Sergeant Nagle and Patrolman Anthony Perri were gunned down outside Northlake Bank by three armed bandits wielding small automatic weapons. As Sergeant Nagle arrived in a squad car, he and another officer were sprayed with bullets. Sergeant Nagle was fatally shot in the head and abdomen as he stood next to his car. The robbers were convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
