Description: Natural Resources Officer Nihart was killed in an all terrain vehicle crash while working his shift at a music festival in Tuttle Creek State Park. Officer Nihart lost control of the ATV while turning into the parking lot of the Department of Wildlife and Parks Office, causing it to flip over. Officer Nihart was thrown from the vehicle and died at a nearby hospital from his injuries.
