Description: Senior Corporal Nix was shot after making a traffic stop. Corporal Nix and his partner recognized the car from a recent homicide bulletin and pulled the vehicle over. The suspect opened fire on the officers before they could exit their patrol car. Corporal Nix was shot twice. His partner rushed him to the closest hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
