Description: Sergeant Neal was accidentally shot during a SWAT training exercise. The Mexia Police Department and Sergeant Neal's department were practicing SWAT maneuvers when the accident occurred. Investigators discovered that live ammunition had been mistakenly loaded in one of the training weapons. Sergeant Neal was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Friendly fire.
