Description: Sergeant Ng succumbed to hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) linked to deer mice droppings found on the premises of the Ellensburg P.D. training center. Sergeant Ng was the department training officer and spent a significant amount of time at the training center. Police investigations searched Sergeant Ng's home, his parent's home, and the storage shed at the training center only to find contaminated mouse droppings at the training center.
