Description: Deputy Nieto responded to a call from a school regarding a truant juvenile. Deputy Nieto held the 11-year-old from behind as the boy kicked and struggled to break free. Backup arrived after approximately 10 minutes. Deputy Nieto placed the juvenile in the patrol car and was discussing the situation with fellow deputies when he suffered a heart attack. Deputy Nieto was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later.
