Description: Patrolman Nieto was killed when his cruiser was struck by a Union Pacific train. Patrolman Nieto was patrolling at the Union Pacific rail yard when his patrol unit was struck at approximately 50 mph. Patrolman Nieto was flown to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
