Description: While on night patrol, Officer Neal was shot by a suspicious individual carrying a large bag. Officer Neal greeted the suspect and asked what was in the bag. The suspect had just burglarized a business and was armed with a pistol. The suspect shot Officer Neal twice in the chest and after he fell, the suspect shot him in the abdomen. Officer Neal died at the scene.
