Description: Deputy Sheriff Netherland was killed in a single-vehicle crash while en route to the department from his residence. Deputy Netherland lost control of his patrol vehicle in a construction zone which caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike several large pieces of construction machinery. Deputy Netherland died at the scene.
