Description: Sheriff Napier and Town Marshal E.M. Davison were shot as they attempted to arrest an intoxicated man who was causing a public disturbance and firing a gun. Sheriff Napier died at the scene. Marshal Davison survived his injuries. The suspect was apprehended 10 years later and charged with murder.
