Description: Agent Nieves Ruiz had just left work at the Puerto Police Department. While still in uniform, she escorted her elderly Uncle to a bank machine. Agent Nieves Ruiz was en route to her residence when a group of masked individuals followed her and her Uncle from the bank to their residence. After exiting her vehicle, the masked suspects produced weapons and attempted to rob them. Agent Nieves Ruiz was shot and killed as she attempted to stop the robbery.
