Description: Sergeant Overberg was shot multiple times while working undercover at a pharmacy. Sergeant Overberg and nine other officers were on special assignment on holdup detail to address a series of burglaries in the area. Sergeant Overberg was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect was convicted of murder and executed via the electric chair.
