Description: Officer Ohlsen was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train while investigating reports of a brush fire involving a homeless man on the railroad tracks. Officer Ohlsen was directing emergency fire units to the scene when he was struck by the passenger train. Officer Ohlsen was flown to the Morristown Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries 45 minutes later.
