Description: Police Officer Oswald was struck and killed while investigating the scene of a suspected car accident. Officer Oswald determined that the vehicle was abandoned and no accident had occurred. Officer Oswald was standing outside of his patrol car waiting for a tow truck when a passing vehicle crossed the double yellow lines and struck him. Officer Oswald was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
