Description: On June 2, 2003, Inspector Olcomendy was conducting a narcotics arrest, when the suspect fled. Inspector Olcomendy severely injured his knee while in pursuit and underwent arthroscopic surgery a few weeks later to repair his knee. On July 26, 2003, while on temporary disability, Inspector Olcomendy died of a pulmonary embolism.
