Description: Town Marshal Ogsbury was shot while attempting to serve arrest warrants to three known desperadoes wanted in connection with a bar robbery. Marshal Ogsbury was shot in the chest and died at the scene, his own weapon still holstered. Two of the suspects were lynched by an angry mob and the third suspect shot dead by an acquaintance for the reward.
