Description: Captain O’Donnell died in an motorcyle crash when his patrol motorcycle collided broadside into a vehicle coming out of a driveway. Captain O’Donnell and Officer Robert Horey were in pursuit of a speeding motorist when the accident occurred. Officer Horey was thrown from the motorcycle and Captain O’Donnell was pinned in the sidecar. Captain O’Donnell was transported to the hospital with a fractured skull and died the next day. Officer Horey survived his injuries.
