Description: Police Officer Ortega was shot and killed after stopping a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. As Officer Ortega communicated with dispatch, the suspect exited his vehicle and approached the police cruiser. The suspect ignored Officer OrtegaŸ??s order to get back into his vehicle. A struggle ensued and Officer Ortega was fatally shot. The suspect committed suicide.
