Description: Police Officer Olivieri was struck and killed after exiting his vehicle to investigate an automobile crash involving a drunk driver. As Officer Olivieri approached the scene, a passing SUV struck him. The drunk driver who caused the crash that Officer Olivieri was investigating at the time of his death was charged with vehicular manslaughter and other offenses.
