Description: Officer One Feather was killed while transporting two prisoners to the local jail on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Because the Ford Expedition had no cage, the two suspects were able to assault Officer One Feather. The vehicle crashed, killing Officer One Feather and one of the prisoners.
