Description: Officer Owen was killed as he attempted to rescue another military family, whose vehicle was stranded on a bridge in a freak thunderstorm. Officer Owen and a family of four were killed as a 12-foot wall of water washed out the bridge. This accident occurred at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.
