Description: Officer Owens responded to a officer needs assistance call. The suspect was wanted for kidnapping, robbery, and shooting at police officers. The suspect exited his car and fled on foot. Corporal Owens and another officer pursued the suspect. After a brief foot chase and struggle, the suspect was placed under arrest. Shortly after the chase, Corporal Owens began to experience severe chest pains. He was transported immediately to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
