Description: Sergeant Owen was shot and killed while responding to a residential burglary. Sergeant Owen ran to the rear of the residence and was shot in the face by the suspect. Sergeant Owen was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. The suspect was apprehended several hours later.
