Description: Sergeant Quin O'Brien and Deputy Michael Geszvain were in court with an inmate when the man gained control of Deputy Geszvain's service weapon and opened fire. Deputy Geszvain, who was shot with his own gun, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Sergeant O'Brien succumbed to his injuries the following day. The inmate was sentenced to two counts of life without parole.
