Description: Deputy City Marshal O'Connor was shot as he attempted to arrest an armed suspect who was shooting at citizens. Deputy Marshal O'Connor was shot in the leg as he struggled to disarm the suspect. The suspect was shot and killed by a second officer. Deputy Marshal O'Connor died of his injuries seven days later.
