Description: Customs Inspector O'Connor was fatally shot as he questioned three suspects who were about to cross the border from Texas into Mexico. The suspects then robbed Inspector O'Connor of his weapon and ammunition. One suspect was killed in a shootout with a posse of lawmen and the other two suspects were arrested. The suspects were charged with the murder of Agent J.A. McClure (44-W:23) that occurred five days prior to Inspector O'Connor's death.
