Description: Sergeant Olsovsky suffered a fatal heart attack while conducting service weapon qualifications at the department shooting range in 100-degree heat. Sergeant Olsovsky and a fellow officer had moved ten 55-gallon barrels to set up the shooting range. Sergeant Olsovsky completed handgun and shotgun qualifications when he began to feel ill. He became unresponsive, and emergency medical services personnel were called to the scene. Sergeant Olsovsky was transferred to the hospital where he suffered a heart attack and died.
